The Headwaters Center is part studio, part black box theater.  The 33′ x 23′ sprung-wood dance floor serves as a rehearsal and workshop space as well as a stage, which opens up to our 70-seat theater.  The space is equipped with professional stage lighting, sound, curtains and comfortable seating.  The natural flooring may be used for soft shoe dance concerts or covered with a black flooring for a true black box environment.  Our lobby opens up to a  unique and romantic/industrial view of railcars and Mt. Hood.

2010 RENTAL RATES

REHEARSALS, CLASSES & MEETINGS:

Use of space includes 33’ x 23′ dance-floor, studio stereo and dressing room only.

  • M-F (8am-5pm): $15/hour
  • M-F (5pm-11pm): $18/hour
  • Weekends: $18/hour

PERFORMANCES & EVENTS:

Use of space includes 33’ x 23’ dance-floor/stage, dressing room, box office, lights, sound, theater and lobby.

  • $50/hour (plus $15/hour for in-house management during performances) + $18/hour for pre-performance rehearsal and tech times.
  • $550/week (plus $15/hour for in-house management during performances)

*Renters to provide their own box office attendant and technicians or hire them through the studio at $15-25/hour each.

PARTNERING INDIVIDUAL OR ORGANIZATION:

6 month lease terms only.  Hours and times subject to availability.  Option of extending lease.  Rates are for rehearsal usage and include use of the facilities for one performance or event each term (up to 5 hours in length).

  • 40 hours/month: $450
  • 30 hours/month: $375
  • 20 hours/month: $275

KEY & SECURITY DEPOSIT:

All renters are required to give a refundable key and security deposit.
